May has flown by and we have been remiss in updating the blog. Apologies to anyone who was in want.
May 11 was a big day in our home as Will and I did our best to honor the wonderful mother that Kelly has so quickly and naturally become. We decided staying "in" and spending a whole weekend together as a family was the best way to celebrate, and so we did - it was a wonderful weekend. I have to say that Will didn't do any extra chores or anything. I'll have to talk with him about that.
One other special note from May 11 was that two friends from India, Matthews and Daisy, were in the US for their son's graduation. We hadn't seen them since we taught in India in November 2003. They're gentleness, godliness, fervency for the Lord, and hospitality left an impact on Kelly and me. We remember their distinct prayers for our desires to have a child, too, even back then. So it was with great joy that we introduced them to Will and caught up with life in often turbulent India, where believers from their school face regular opposition and hostility. The pictures below are from Nov 2003, in their kitchen in India, and May 2008 in Danvers!
No major changes with Will - he seems to have regressed a bit with sleeping patterns and had a bit of digestive problems last week (not moving fast enough!), but minor inconveniences, really (Though they don't always seem that way in the middle of it!). He's laughing and cooing more loudly, playing with more gusto, and growing stronger by the day. He has good "trunk" control, rolling over (from stomach), steadying himself, etc...
Fun pictures of Mom and Will
