This afternoon as we were walking off a muddy soccer field after a church fellowship pick-up game, Will paused and was looking toward the sky (which was in the beginning stages of a beautiful sunset) and pointing.
I said, "What are you looking at, Will"?
Will: "The Sky"
Daddy: "It's beautiful, huh? Did you know God made the sky?"
Will: "Thank you God!"
He possessed genuine and self-initiated gratitude, and he made both Kelly and me smile. We'd all do well to learn from his faith and thankfulness.
Will's at the age where he loves reading and learning anything new. He lingers in certain ideas, songs, or events for a long time: a particular music CD (his favorite is our old worship leader, Ron Malionek... "more Ron singing"), a particular story or book (he loves my old picture books from 1978-1980!), a warm or inviting person. He loves people and he loves learning. He loves kisses - giving and receiving!
