[transcript from tonight's dinner]

Dad: Will, please eat a piece of carrot
Will: No
Dad: Will, please eat the carrot before you have any bread or chicken
Will: No, NO, NO!
Dad: Will, you must try the carrot.
Will: Why?
Dad: It will help you grow up big and strong
Will: I'm already strong
Dad: Um, yes, well, you can be bigger and healthier when you eat vegetables
Will: No, I don't want to
Dad: Do you want bread?
Will: Yes!
Dad: Do you want chicken?
Will: Yes!
Dad: Do you want rice with dressing?
Will: Yes!
Dad: Then eat the carrot!

[Will, slowly puts cooked carrot into mouth and chews...]

Will: [smiling] I like it!

Sounds like Green Eggs and Ham at our place these days....

He's full of "doozies" and astounding, out of left field comments... We often say to ourselves, how did he know that?

Some scenes from our (eventful) last week....

Here's Will running around JPJ, UVa's basketball arena

Smooching with his Aunt Bug, Geoff's sister

Having a blast being pushed by his Uncle Rick, in Yorktown, VA

Chillin' with Mommy in Colonial Williamsburg

Sounds like much of our conversations with Cooper! No No No! He is all about standing his ground. Too bad it is so darn cute when they try to be the boss.
