Summer time travels

We've experienced a summer of travel and family adventure so far. Through mid-July, we've gone to Massachusetts, Wisconsin, and Virginia Beach. Then, most recently, Kelly and I managed to scoot away for 24 hours (first time ever w/o Will!) for our ten year anniversary.

How sweet to see some old friends, to share the joy of CCA's first graduating class, to reconnect with extended family at a reunion, to relax on the beach with Pops and Nana.. Add to these the slower-paced connections and rhythms of the summer - memorable!

We feel privileged and grateful to have the freedom and flexibility to have these experiences. We're learning more and more about our dear son, too - he's a champ traveler and loves adventure!

We've overdone the picture-taking: so I'm going to try to sift through and share some gems.

Here's Jon and Ivy playing with Will... they graciously hosted us in MA for 3 nights...! (then we skedaddled - you know how the old Ben Franklin saying goes...)

Here are a few shots typifying the dog days of summer...

And finally, our 10 year anniversary picture, taken at our sweet getaway B&B...

This looks like such a fun summer! And I can't believe how Will now looks like a kid--so grown up!
