We've also felt drawn to the Lord on many occasions, being grateful for Emmanuel, hope, and joy.  We love teaching Will about Jesus' birthday and hearing him sing the carols with gusto. But yesterday we captured some true giggles on camera.  I thought I was just going to capture Kelly and Will being silly before bedtime, but a "snort (look for it halfway through!) turned into just sweet, unplanned laughter.

More locally, we also attended the funeral of the child of some close friends. Friday Dec 19th we left Charlottesville just as it began to snow, and snow hard.  3 hours later (normally 75 minute trip) we rolled into my Dad's house, our CRV acting like the little engine that could, plowing through 6-8 inches up their 3/4 mile, unpaved driveway.The next morning we woke to 28 inches of snow. And, oh my goodness, was he the cutest thing you've ever seen?  Before I put it on him, I let him play with it and "decide if he liked it." He's doing GREAT! We are so enjoying parenthood. Will is continuing to eat "like a champ" (as his doc said) as evidenced by his recent weight check at his pedi appt.
